Discovering the Forest

This series was exhibited at the Cliff Dwellers and at The South Shore Arts in Crown Point, Indiana.  
This series started with my daily walk in a forest which is a block from my house.  After a few weeks walking, I realized I was passing all these beautiful images and just looking but not really seeing the potential subjects for paintings.  I then started this series and after about 65 paintings I still see things that interest me. 
I have been busy getting a show ready at the Cliff Dwellers at 200 South Michigan Ave., Chicago.  
I selected 25 paintings for this show which will only be up for 3 weeks.   
I will have a more complete show in November with about 50 painting from this series.
