Artist Bio

I was the Director,  Bureau of Art, Chicago Public Schools from 1987 until I retired in 1992. Before that, I taught in the Chicago public school system for 30 years (1957-1987).   

I also was a Professor at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, teaching Printmaking, Teacher Education and Figure Drawing from 1991-2001.

Since I retired I have continued creating art and exhibiting it.
